OUR CHURCH

Our mission is to reach every nation, kindred, tongue and people with God’s final warning message to the world with the Three Angels’ Messages of Revelation 14:6-12.In response to God’s invitation to come and abide in him, we extend that same invitation to others.

As we are restored back into God’s image, growing spiritually in God’s word, living and growing as a family, serving and witnessing to our community and the world.In harmony with and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we will pursue this mission through:

Unity of the body of Christ through recognizing the Bible to be God’s infallible revelation of His Will and Righteousness.
Restoration of the family through the development of mind and character by God’s redemptive love.
Cooperating with the creator in his compassionate work of restoration of mankind, through serving and witnessing and mending broken lives.

OUR PASTOR

Pastor Kent Nichols and his wife Abayomi are excited to be a part of the amazing and loving Berean Seventh-day Adventist Church. Kent is a native of Wisconsin and grew up in the capital city, Madison.

He has an Accounting degree from Oakwood University and is finishing Master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry from Andrews University. Abayomi grew up in Oakland, California and Tampa, Florida. She is a professional clinical and family therapist and Christian counselor.

Pastor Kent and his wife love Jesus and have experienced first-hand the love of GOD in their lives. They are eager to share the love of Jesus with the student body of Illinois State University and the greater Normal/Bloomington community.
